Welcome to Do Only Good Certified Pet Nutrition, LLC (“D.O.G.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites and online services, including doonlygoodpet.com, doonlygoodpetfood.com, and dogcertified.com (collectively, the “Site”), as well as purchases, subscriptions, promotions, and customer accounts made or created through the Site (the “Service”). By using the Site/Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site/Service.

1) Eligibility & Acceptance

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. Additional terms may apply to certain features, promotions, or subscriptions; where they apply, they are incorporated into these Terms.

2) Accounts & Security

  • Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Keep credentials confidential; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One active account per user; do not sell, transfer, or share your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, suspected fraud, or misuse, and reject usernames that impersonate, infringe, or are offensive.

3) License & Acceptable Use

We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for lawful, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, scrape, mine, frame, bypass security, upload malware, or impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure. Unauthorized use terminates this license.

4) Product Information; Availability; Errors

We strive for accuracy, but errors may occur (pricing, availability, descriptions, images). We may correct errors, update information, or cancel orders without notice if information is inaccurate. Prices, promotions, and availability may change at any time.

5) Orders, Payments & Promotions

By placing an order, you warrant that your information is accurate and authorized. Payments are processed by third-party processors; we do not store full card data. We may refuse/cancel orders for suspected fraud, unauthorized use, or error.

Promotions may be governed by additional rules; if there is a conflict, the promotional rules control.

6) Subscriptions (Auto-Ship)

  • Enrolling in a subscription (“Plan”) authorizes recurring charges to your active payment method at your selected frequency until you cancel.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ notice before your next shipment. Continuing the Plan after notice constitutes acceptance.
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime via your account portal or by contacting support before the next billing date. Except as required by law, subscription fees already billed are non-refundable once a cycle starts.

7) Shipping & Delivery

Orders ship via third-party carriers under our carrier agreements. Title and risk of loss pass to you once we deliver the order to the carrier. Orders ship to the address you provide if complete and compliant with Site restrictions. Delivery times are set by the carrier and may vary due to destination, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

  • Processing time: typically 2–3 business days.
  • Transit time: typically 3–7 business days, location dependent.
  • Tracking information is emailed when your order ships.

If your order arrives damaged or items are missing, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

8) Returns & Refunds

Please see our Shipping, Returns & Refund Policy (incorporated by reference). Key points:

  • Initiate returns within 15 days of the original purchase date.
  • Consumables that are opened, used, or expired cannot be returned (unless defective).
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Refunds to the original payment method typically process within 14 business days after receipt/approval.
  • If a return is required, we’ll issue an RMA and a prepaid return label.
  • Items purchased from authorized independent retailers must be returned to the retailer.

9) Health, Nutrition & Veterinary Disclaimer

Site content (including articles, descriptions, feeding suggestions, and wellness information) is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your veterinarian. Reliance on Site information is at your own risk.

10) Intellectual Property; Trademarks

The Site/Service and all content are owned by D.O.G. or its licensors and protected by U.S. and international IP laws. Our trademarks—including D.O.G., Do Only Good, and related logos/slogans—may not be used without our prior written consent.

11) User Content; Prohibited Conduct

Do not post unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, deceptive, or spam content; do not post others’ personal data; do not upload malware. We may remove content, refuse service, or terminate accounts at our discretion.

12) Unsolicited Submissions

We do not accept unsolicited ideas or materials. If you submit any, you grant D.O.G. a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and exploit them without compensation, and you waive any claims arising from our use.

13) Electronic Communications; Opt-Out

By using the Site or emailing us, you consent to receive electronic communications (email, Site notices). Such communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing. You may opt out of promotional emails via “unsubscribe”; transactional/service emails may still be sent.

14) Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party sites. We do not control or endorse and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Access at your own risk.

15) Disclaimers

THE SITE, SERVICE, AND ALL CONTENT/PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, D.O.G. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION, OR FREEDOM FROM MALICIOUS CODE.

16) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, D.O.G. AND ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, MANAGERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS) ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE/SERVICE/PRODUCTS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD $100 IF NO PURCHASE WAS MADE.

17) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless D.O.G. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site/Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

18) Changes to the Site/Service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature, content, or product on the Site at any time without notice, and are not liable for such changes.

19) Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with the updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes signifies acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Site/Service.

20) Governing Law; Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

21) Miscellaneous

Headings are for convenience only. If any provision is held unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. There are no third-party beneficiaries unless expressly stated. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign without restriction. These Terms (including incorporated policies) are the entire agreement between you and D.O.G. regarding the Site/Service.
